Vince visiting Russia
August 8, 2011 | Alex, Dima, and Olga
Vince became a real friend for me when he came to Russia to see the country and to meet me. He came along with my host dad Glenn.
When I was in the US he really supported me when I got in trouble with my placement organization for something I didn't do. He was my witness of a sort.
Then I felt much respect for him for standing up for me, but when he came to Russia and we have spend a couple of days in three I understood that he is my friend and an amazingly young one! we talked freely about absolutely everything - though he was probably my father's age, we had so much fun together! we even went to a night club where my friends worked, and he sat on a broken chair and torn his jeans ))) it was funny to watch him walk around with a hole on his pants...even my friends remember him! we laughed at the same jokes...like the same food - i still eat the same pancakes he liked in a restaurant here...oh man i thought i would visit him when i go to USA someday...too bad I'm not going to see him.
I guess one of the cool jokes he made was when Glenn was going to see Lenin in his tomb on red square. I said that i don't really care of going, because I don't see the point in looking at a dead body of that guy (not that I was scared, I just didn't see the point-it's nothing interesting) and then Vince said.
-I don't really want to go ether...but just to make sure! :)
  So we went.
Man, we are going to miss you
your friends: Alex, Dima and Olya.
